Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra says the government has allocated over Rs 24 billion for development of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar on Monday, he said 70 percent of the amount has been allocated for ongoing projects, while thirty percent for the new schemes.

The Governor directed the concerned authorities to accelerate the pace of development and ensure efficient utilization of funds in tribal areas.
