Rangers nab three MQM office-bearers
The MQM leaders were arrested for making provocative speeches and endangering peace of Karachi.
Pakistan Rangers Sindh arrested three MQM office-bearers in a raid on Nine-Zero in Karachi early this morning.
In a statement, Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar said these persons were arrested for making provocative speeches and endangering peace of Karachi.
A Rangers spokesperson said the arrested MQM leaders included Qamar Mansoor and Kahf-ul-Wara, who were facilitators for provocative and hateful speeches.
He said a list of persons involved in provocative speeches has been prepared and further arrests will also be made soon.
The spokesman said Rangers are working for restoring peace in the province, particularly in Karachi.
