Over 100 terrorists killed in countrywide operations: DG ISPR
Major General Asif Ghafoor says intelligence agencies making progress to unearth networks behind recent terrorist incidents.
Over hundred terrorists have been killed during intelligence based and combing operations across the country during the last twenty-four hours.
According to DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor, intelligence agencies are making progress to unearth networks behind recent terrorist incidents.
He said there are linkages of support for these incidents from across the border. He said the border has been closed since last night due to security reasons. He said that no cross border and unauthorized entry would be allowed to Pakistan from Afghanistan. He said that security forces have been given special orders in this regard to have strict watch all along the border.
DG ISPR said Afghan authorities have been given a list of seventy-six terrorists who are hiding across since long and planning, directing and supporting terrorist activities in Pakistan. He said Afghan government has been asked to target them and hand over to Pakistan.
Asif Ghafoor said terrorists' hideouts on Pakistan-Afghan border have been effectively targeted.
