Three Indian soldiers killed in attack on Army convoy in Pampore
In occupied Kashmir, three Indian soldiers were killed in an attack on an Army convoy in Pampore, today.
Indian media reported that the army convoy was attacked on Srinagar-Jammu Highway in Kadlabal area of Pampore.
The reports said that Indian police and troops have launched a massive house to house search operation in the area to nab the attackers.
On the other hand, the puppet authorities are not releasing the ailing Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi, even after the quashing of her illegal detention under black law, Public Safety Act, by the High Court.
Meanwhile, people staged a forceful demonstration in Sopore, today, to protest against the injuring of a nine-year-old boy due by Indian troops , yesterday. The protesters raised high-pitched pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
A Delhi-based civil society group, the Concerned Citizens’ Collective Committee, in a statement in New Delhi expressed serious concern over the use of brute force including the pellet guns by Indian forces on peaceful protesters in occupied Kashmir.
It said the high proportion of injuries on the face and above the waist demonstrated intentional move, not to disperse the protestors but to kill or permanently disable them.
