Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has said that the Interior Ministry should not be blamed for every terrorist incident in the country.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Saturday he said the Commission of Supreme Court did not include the government's stance in its report.

He said that the commission had asked five questions through a letter and he replied to all of them as per realities.

The Minister said he neither met any delegation of Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat nor did he allow any outfit to hold a public meeting.

He said a delegation of Difa-e-Pakistan Council did meet him on its request to resolve the issue of CNIC verification.

Chaudhry Nisar informed newsmen that he will present his stance about the judicial report before the Supreme Court, Parliament and the entire nation.

He said the government has taken bold steps to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country.

He said due to strenuous efforts of the government, terror incidents have declined significantly during the last three and half years.
