River Indus in high flood at Guddu, Sukkur, Kotri
There is no danger of flood in Sindh province despite rise in river Indus at Kotri.
According to flood warning center Lahore, all other rivers are flowing normally at their headworks.
The Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Sindh, has said that there is no danger of flood in the province despite rise in river Indus at Kotri.
In a statement in Karachi, he said that they have been keeping a constant watch on water level at Guddu, Sukkur and Kotri barrages.
However, the residents of the 'Katcha' areas of Kotri, Thatta and Sujawal have been advised to shift immediately to safer places as precautionary measures.
