Govt, armed forces broken back of terrorists: Rashid
Information Minister has reiterated government's resolve to eliminate forces inimical to the ideology of Pakistan.
Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said the government and armed forces have broken the back of terrorists and they are now on the run.
Talking to Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel, he said the entire world is acknowledging the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan to eliminate terrorism for the sake of world peace.
The Minister said armed forces of Pakistan have successfully destroyed terrorists' hideouts, factories of explosive and training camps in North Waziristan.
Paying great homage to martyred Home Minister of Punjab Shuja Khanzada, he said the terrorists are carrying out such acts in desperation.
However, Pervaiz Rashid said, the terrorists cannot weaken the nation's determination to eliminate terrorism from the country.
Meanwhile talking to various news channels, Pervaiz Rashid reiterated government's determination to eliminate forces inimical to the ideology of Pakistan.
He said the elements that used let loose reign of terror on innocent citizens on the pretext of sectarianism or a skewed interpretation of Islam to subdue them would not be tolerated.
The Minister vowed to chase the terrorists and their facilitators until the menace is totally eliminated from the country.
He pledged to redouble efforts to secure the life and property of every Pakistani and defeat nefarious designs of the elements who are trying to create discord and disrupt harmony in the society.
