US NSA acknowledges Pakistan’s sacrifices in combating terrorism

US National Security Adviser Mc Master has reaffirmed Trump administration's commitment to work closely with Pakistan in strengthening mutually beneficial relations.
He was talking to Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz in Islamabad on Monday.
He said his country will also work with Pakistan towards the shared objectives of peace and stability in Afghanistan and the region.
McMaster acknowledged Pakistan’s sacrifices in combating extremism and terrorism.
Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan and the US have been close friends over decades and that a continued strong partnership remained critical to promoting peace and stability in the wider region.
Adviser also highlighted the importance of effective border management as part of the actions required to achieve sustainable peace in the region.
The Pakistan side also shared its perspective on the plight of Kashmiris in Indian Occupied Kashmir and the status of relations with India.
