Govt working to prevent blasphemous materials using on social media: Baligh
Minister of State for Interior Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman has said that the government is working to prevent blasphemous materials using on social media.
In an interview tonight, he said elements involved in circulation of blasphemous and sacrilegious contents on social media will be dealt with iron hands.
He said that the FIR has been registered against the accused persons in the incident of lynching of a student at Wali Khan University Mardan and 16 accused persons have been arrested. He said any individual or crowd will never be allowed to take law into their hands.
To a question, he said that the government has taken bold steps for improvement of educational system in the country. He said the preparation of national education curriculum is under process and lessens of tolerance on view points of others are also being included in the curriculum.
