In Iraq , over 2,000 families have fled Ramadi and are settling in the southern and western suburbs of Baghdad due to fighting between Islamic State militants and government forces.
According to official sources, hundreds of US troops are training Iraqi forces at a military base west of Ramadi but a US military official said, the fighting have no impact on the residents.
He said there are no plans to withdraw US troops from the base.
