PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz says the government is providing jobs, loans, and training to the youth purely on merit rising above party lines.

She was addressing the certificate distribution ceremony of the Prime Minister's Youth Skills Development Programme (PMYSDP) in Islamabad on Friday.

Maryam Nawaz said that under the programme, twenty-five thousand students have been trained in 100 professions. She said that the training will help the youth in getting jobs or starting their own business.

She said the monthly stipend will now be 3000 rupees for the students belonging to FATA and 2500 for the students of the rest of the country.

Maryam Nawaz said that PML-N government is going to launch Youth Internship Programme under which fifty thousand youth will be provided internship opportunity with a monthly stipend of 12,000 rupees. She said that the minimum qualification for the Internship Programme will be 16-year education.

Later, she distributed certificates and awards among the outstanding students.
