A spokesperson of Prime Minister has said that protecting sanctity of the parliament and taking decisive actions against corruption are the cornerstone of present government's agenda.

In a statement, the spokesperson said barring the Information Minister from Senate by Chairman of the Upper House was an extraordinary step and the situation in the House had raised serious concerns.

He however said the defense minister on the instructions of the prime minister resolved the matter amicably.
