A month-long workshop on film making began in Karakoram International University (KIU) in Gilgit on Wednesday.

The workshop was organized by Media and Communication Department and IPD KIU. The participants would be imparted training on documentaries, short films, script writing, camera7 & lights techniques, sound designs and post production.

The workshop is aimed to promote film industry to highlight soft image of the country through cinema screens.
