Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen M. Mazari says Pakistan should pursue more proactive and out of the box diplomacy for its membership in Nuclear Suppliers Group.

Addressing a conference titled "Nuclear Arms Control: Challenges and Prospects" in Islamabad on Wednesday, she said international community's support for India's NSG membership is discriminatory.

The Federal Minister said Islamabad is desirous of cordial relations with all the countries based on mutual respect and cooperation.

She said there are problems with the NPT as those who need to implement it are violating it.

The Minister urged the Nuclear powers to talk about Israel's Nuclear Program as no one has noticed it seriously.

She expressed the confidence that the Conference would help participants understand the point of view of different countries about nuclear nonproliferation.
