Analysts hail ICJ verdict in Kalbhushan Jhadav case, term it a diplomatic victory of Pakistan
July 17, 2019

Abdullah Gul (Defense Analyst):

India has faced defeat in international court of Justice. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) rejected New Delhi’s plea to acquit and release self-confessed Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav. It is now exposed that Kulbhushan is an Indian national and serving officer who entered Pakistan with malicious agenda to destabilize Pakistan. ICJ did not nullified Pakistan’s military court’s verdict and only asked Pakistan to review & reconsider conviction & sentence given to Yadhav and give him councilor access. International community has realized that Pakistan’s stance is strong in Jadhav case. It is high time for India to learn lesson and abstain from involving in espionage and sabotage activities against Pakistan.

Dr. Huma Baqai (IR Expert):

The verdict given by International Court of Justice in Kulbhushan Jadav case is welcoming and validates Pakistan’s stance. ICJ asked Pakistan to review death sentence. ICJ’s verdict validates Pakistan’s stance that Kulbashan was involved in unlawful activities. Pakistan’s position is validated in front of international community.

Brig (R) Mehmood Shah (Defense Analyst):

Indian’s serving officer’s involvement in subversive activities indicates that India is involved in sabotaging peace in Pakistan. ICJ verdict is Pakistan’s victory in international court. Pakistan’s legal teams successfully presented the case and exposed India nefarious face in front of the international community. ICJ verdict clearly indicates that India is a terrorist state and RAW is involved in espionage activities to sabotage peace in Pakistan.
