10th death anniversary of Prof Asghar Saudai, the creator of slogan "Pakistan Ka Matlab Kia La Ilaha Illallah" was observed on Thurday.

He was born on 17th September 1926 in Sialkot.

He got education from Mary Coellge Sialkot and Islamia College Lahore.

Prof Asghar Saudai was associated with Government Islamia College Sialkot and then become Principal of this College in 1965.

He remained Director Education of Dera Ghazi Khan from 1984 to 1986.

His poetry collection was published under the name of Shahey Do Sara, Chlan Saba ki Tarhan, Kiran Sada ki Tarahn.

He died at the age eighty-one on 17th May, 2008 in Sialkot.
