British PM May survives a no- confidence vote in parliament
January 17, 2019

British Prime Minister Theresa May has survived a no- confidence vote in the parliament.

On the occasion, she appealed to MPs from across the political divide to come together to try to break the impasse on a Brexit divorce agreement.

Earlier, Lawmakers voted 432 to 202 against her Brexit deal. It was worst defeat in modern British history, triggering political chaos that could lead to a disorderly exit from the EU or even to a reversal of the 2016 decision to leave.
