President to attend inaugural ceremony of 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games beginning tomorrow in Ashgabad
President Mamnoon Hussain has arrived in Turkmen capital Ashgabad on a three-day official visit. On his arrival the President was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan and other senior officials. Pakistan`s ambassador to Turkmenistan Murad Ashraf Janjua was also present on the occasion. Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources Jam Kamal Khan is accompanying President Mamnoon Hussain. The President will attend the inaugural ceremony of 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabad tomorrow. A one hundred and thirty member Pakistani contingent that has already reached Ashqabad will participate in the games. Over fifty five hundred players from sixty four countries will also take part in these games.

Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal says Pakistan became an unprecedented story of success during the last four years due to upward trajectory in diverse fields. Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Saturday, he said incidents of terror have reduced by eighty to ninety percent as compared to 2013 and peace has been restored in the length and breadth of the country. The Interior Minister said a star studded world eleven Independence Cup tournament imparted a positive and soft image of the country at international level.
