Saudi Arabia's Assistant Minister for Defence Mohammad Abdullah Alayeesh visited Naval Headquarters Islamabad on Saturday.

Upon arrival at Naval Headquarters, the visiting dignitary was received by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah.

A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy presented him Guard of Honour.

Later, during his meeting with Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah, matters of mutual interest came under discussion. The Naval Chief highlighted Pakistan’s performance in fight against terrorism including participation of Pakistan Navy in Coalition Maritime Campaign Plan and Counter Piracy Operations.

The Saudi Minister lauded Pakistan Navy’s role and focused commitment in support of maritime security for peace and stability in the region.

Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Ayeesh also visited Air Headquarters in Islamabad today.

On his arrival at the Air Headquarters, he was received by Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman.

They discussed matters of professional and mutual interest.

The Saudi Assistant Defence Minister lauded PAF's role in fighting the war against terrorism and reiterated his country's resolve to stand by Pakistan in any hour of need.

Speaking on the occasion, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman said that both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoyed cordial and brotherly relations and reiterated PAF's resolve to support and extend cooperation in the field of aviation and military training to Royal Saudi Air Force.
