Hurriyet leadership urges for solution of Kashmir dispute through dialogue b/w Pakistan, India and Kashmiri leadership
In occupied Kashmir , the joint resistance leadership has said that Kashmir is not a territorial dispute but a human and political issue, which can only be settled through dialogue among Pakistan, India and the genuine Kashmiri leadership.
The resistance leaders, including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued after a meeting in Srinagar, deplored that instead of creating conducive environment for such a process, India is focused on enhancing military power against the Kashmiri people.
They said that this military approach is resulting in continued killings, blinding and injuring of people while political activists have been jailed.
Meanwhile, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred two Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district, Saturday.
The troops killed the youth during a military operation in Machil area of the district.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R has expressed concern over the plight of Kashmiri political detainees languishing in different jails of India and the occupied territory.
