Continuity of policies imperative for strengthening democracy in country: PM

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says continuity of policies is imperative for strengthening democracy in the country.
In an interview with a private TV channel on Saturday, he said the changing in the government should only be made through vote of the public.
To a question, he said PML-N has accepted decision of the apex court regarding Panama Papers case and implemented it immediately despite reservations on the disqualification of the former Prime Minister.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said the political decisions should be made in the field of politics and not in the courts and the vote of the nation should be given respect.
He said the law should be equal for all citizens without any discrimination and the pending cases against all the politicians should be decided without delay.
To a question, the Prime Minister said that there will be zero load-shedding in the country in November this year due to commendable efforts of the government in elimination of power crises.
He said foreign policy will be revived after announcement of Trump's policy for Afghanistan and South Asia. He said there is no any possibility of break-through in relations with India.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said Pakistan is ready to hold dialogue with India on the outstanding issues.
