China agrees to address Pakistan's concerns about preference erosion for exports

This was decided in the eighth meeting of second phase negotiations of China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement, concluded in Beijing.
The meeting was co-chaired by Pakistan's Secretary Commerce Muhammad Younus Dagha and Chinese Vice Minister for Commerce Wang Shouwen.
After two days of intense negotiations, Chinese side agreed to address the major concerns of Pakistan regarding preference erosion for Pakistani exports and meaningful market access during the second phase.
