Pak-China long-term cooperation in the field of economy: CPEC to change fate of the entire region
Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal says China Pakistan Economic Corridor is an emblem of historic ties between the two countries. He was talking to ambassador of China in Pakistan Sun Weidong who called on him in Islamabad. He said Pak-China relations are based on mutual goodwill and long term cooperation in economic and defence fields. During the meeting it was decided to impart training on modern lines to the law enforcement agencies. Ahsan Iqbal said Balochistan has great significance in CPEC project and it has been divided into northern and southern zones due to security reasons. The Chinese ambassador expressed satisfaction over the security of Chinese citizens working on CPEC related projects in Pakistan. Ahsan Iqbal said Pakistan and China will unanimously foil conspiracies against China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif says 300 MW Bahawalpur Solar Power Project by Turkish investors will be completed in November this year. Addressing different delegations of Turkish investors in Istanbul on Saturday, he said he is grateful to the Turkish leadership for their cooperation in various fields. Bahawalpur Solar Power Project will be the first one to provide low cost electricity to the people. Later, addressing a delegation of Pakistani students at University of Istanbul Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said Punjab government will send more students to Turkey to learn Turkish language. He advised Pakistani students to learn Turkish language with dedication as hard work is a key to success.
