Incumbent govt taking steps for promotion of energy sector: Official
The incumbent government is taking concrete measures for promotion of energy sector in Balochistan.
An official of Provincial Energy Department told our correspondent in Quetta on Tuesday that for this purpose, a project of electrification of several villages in Gwadar district is being executed at a cost of 159 million rupees.
The source said that a project of installation of new transformers and electrification of several villages in Panjgur district is also in progress at a cost of 40 million rupees.
The official added that another project for provision of solar home system in various areas of district Zhob is also swiftly being completed at a cost of 40 million rupees.
