The Western capitalist system has been exploitative in nature. The global monetary institutions have looted the wealth of developing countries. None of the countries have ever made progress with the help of IMF. Although China is doing all this for its own interests but it will not exploit like western world. Our strategic location is helpful for China. We have to generate economic activity in the country to yield the maximum results from CPEC.

Dr. H. Alia (Economic Expert):

The E-commerce has already been started in Pakistan. Many business transactions are taking place online. The payments of utility bills and economic transactions are also taking place online. Many retailers are using this facility. The people from all walks of life should benefit from this facility. Without proper information about details of OBOR and CPEC, our common people cannot benefit from these initiatives. We need to discuss who common people and our youth can benefit from CPEC.

Dr. Farooq Hasnaat (IR Expert):

There is no denying of the fact that American influence is receding in economic, political and strategic arenas. China is emerging as a new competitor who wants to include everybody in developmental projects. CPEC is opening new avenues of progress throughout Pakistan. China is making investment in Pakistan, which puts a huge responsibility on us as a whole nation. We have to bring efficiency in our projects to join hands with China on the path of development and prosperity. We have a long standing friendship with China and it does not have colonial mentality like Western powers.

Dr. Fazal-ur-Rehman (Economic Expert):

We have to work on internal matters to gain maximum benefits from CPEC. We should bring structural economic reforms and amend our rules to make them attractive for foreign investors. We should make a result based analysis for all projects. We should think for long term projects.
