General Elections 2018 To Be Held According To New Electoral Reforms: Dar
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says that general elections 2018 will be held according to the new electoral reforms. He was speaking after the meeting of the electoral reforms committee in Islamabad on Tuesday. The Minister said that contentious points will be further deliberated in the sub-committee on electoral reforms meeting to be held tomorrow. He hoped that the sub-committee will submit its report before the next budget. He said electoral reforms committee's report will be submitted just after the budget if the task is not completed before the upcoming financial plan.

Government Is Committed To Provide Relief to the Masses in the Holy Month of Ramazan
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) approves Ramazan Relief Package with subsidies worth over one point six billion rupees to provide relief to the general public during the upcoming Ramazan. The approval was accorded at a meeting of the Committee presided over by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today. Under the package, nineteen food items will be provided to people through utility stores at subsidized rates.

Pakistan to Soon Emerge As Healthy, Educated Country on World Map: Marriyum
Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the government is investing in human resource development as it is vital for the success of mega projects such as CPEC. Addressing an education expo in Islamabad on Tuesday, she said under the umbrella of PM Youth program, several projects have been started for the education, skill enhancement and professional development of the youth. She said quality education is the main component of PM education reforms program in which main emphasis has been given to the training of the teachers. She said that supplementary grant of three billion rupees have been released in order to equip all the public sector schools in Islamabad with modern facilities. Under the reforms program, montessari classes have been introduced and buses have been provided to the educational institutions.
Health Minister Personally Monitors Anti-Polio Campaign In Islamabad
Minister of State for National Health Services Saira Afzal Tarar monitored the underway anti-polio campaign in Islamabad today on the second day of the three-day nation-wide anti-polio campaign. The Minister visited households in slum areas and inspected children in the streets and checked their finger marking as evidence of polio immunization.
She also spoke to the polio teams and checked their tally sheets. She advised the teams to pay attention to guest children so that not even a single child is missed.
Pakistan Vows To Continue Its Support to Kashmiris for Right to Self-Determination
Pakistan has reiterated to continue its diplomatic, moral and political support to Kashmiris in their ongoing struggle for right to self-determination. The resolve was expressed by the Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry while addressing a series of program organized by World Affairs Council in Washington. The Ambassador said latest intifada in occupied Kashmir is indigenous and India is using force and committing horrendous human rights violations, which breeds hatred among Kashmiris against Indian occupation forces.
