Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 55 runs in a Group 2 match of the ICC World T20 at Kolkata on Wednesday.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Pakistan scored 201 runs for the loos of five wickets. Muhammad Hafeez was top scorer with his 64 runs, followed by Ahmed Shahzad at 52 and Shahid Afridi at 49.
For Bangladesh , Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny picked two wickets each while Sabbir Rahman bagged one wicket.
In reply, Bangladesh made 146 for six in 20 overs, Shakib Al Hassan scoring an unbeaten 50 runs.
Muhammad Amir and Shahid Afridi picked two wickets each while Muhammad Irfan and Imad Wasim bagged one wicket each. Afridi won the man of the match award for his all-round performance.
