JKLF Chairman Yasin Malik arrested in Srinagar
In Occupied Kashmir, Indian police have arrested Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik in Srinagar on Friday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the police took Muhammad Yasin Malik into custody from the party office in Aab-e- Guzar area of Srinagar and lodged him at Kothi Bagh police station to prevent him from leading anti-India demonstrations.
The puppet authorities also put Hurriyet leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Mukhtar Ahmed Waza under house arrest.
The joint resistance leadership comprising has given call for peaceful demonstrations after Jumma prayers today to protests against the brutalities of Indian troops in the held valley.
Meanwhile, the authorities have also suspended Internet services across the held Valley.
