Dar reaffirms Govt's resolve to strengthen anti-money laundering measures
Finance Minister urges all stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and collective efforts in order to achieve desired results. Dar has emphasized the government's resolve to further strengthen anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism frameworks for peace and security of the country. He was chairing a meeting in Islamabad to review progress on the implementation of measures against money laundering and terrorism financing.

Erdogan calls on US, Saudi Arabia to join Astana talks
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called on the United States and Saudi Arabia to join the Astana talks aimed at bringing peace to Syria. In an interview, he said fifth round of talks would be held in Astana soon. A cease-fire in Syria brokered by Turkey and Russia led to the Astana talks, which are being held parallel to UN talks in Geneva to find a political solution to the six-year old conflict.
