Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the government is making sincere efforts to restore peace in all parts of the country. 

Talking to media in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said some political parties are politicizing the extension of Army Act ordinance, which is part of National Action Plan to root out terrorism that is not fair.

He said Rangers are rendering valuable service for bringing peace in Karachi and they are now considered in the city symbol confidence and security.

The Interior Minister to a question said situation in Balochistan regarding law & order has also been improved significantly due the measures taken by the provincial government. He said action will be taken against those will carry weapons but the government prefers to have dialogue with all elements to bring peace.

Nisar Ali Khan said the government is determined to bring the assassins of MQM leader Dr. Imran Farooq to justice and extend cooperation to British police to complete investigations in this case.
