A seven member diplomatic delegation of China held a meeting with special assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Tariq Fatemi in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Both the sides discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to further expand Pak-China Ties.

Tariq Fatemi described Pakistan-China friendship as an exemplary inter-state relationship, which enjoyed across-the-board support at all levels- public, institutional and popular, in both countries. He underscored the importance of the role diplomats from both countries could play in strengthening and deepening the "All-weather strategic cooperative partnership".

The delegation led by Ms. Lu Xu, the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China is on a six-day visit to Pakistan.
