SA passes Sindh Arms Act Amendment Bill
The House also passed two resolutions.
The Sindh Assembly during its proceeding on Monday passed Sindh Arms Act Amendment Bill 2013 under which some clause of the Pakistan Arms Ordinance 1965 will not be applicable in Sindh.
Another bill, Sindh Local Government Amendment Bill 2015 was introduced in the Assembly by Sindh Senior Minister Nisar Khuhro.
The bill was deferred till Friday on the request of opposition.
The House also passed two resolutions. First resolution was presented by PPP member Dr. Sikandar Shoro that demanded the Sindh Government to contact Federal Government and asked them to issue diplomatic passports to Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Assembly and issue official passports to all members Assembly, their spouse and children under 18 years of age and also issue official passports to the officers of Sindh Secretariat.
Second resolution was presented by PPP member Khair-un-Nisa Mughal that cited that this House opposes the Gas Infrastructure Cess on gas consumers imposed by Federal Government. Both resolutions were passed unanimously.
The House has now been adjourned to meet again tomorrow at 10 a.m.
