Pakistan releases 173 Indian prisoners
FO spokesperson hopes government of India will release all Pakistani prisoners who have completed their sentences.
Pakistan on Monday released one hundred and seventy-three Indian prisoners, including one hundred and seventy-two fishermen who will be repatriated to India through Wagha border.
According to the Foreign Office Spokesperson, the issue of prisoners between the two countries is a humanitarian one and should be taken in that spirit.
She hoped that the Government of India will also release all Pakistani prisoners who have completed their sentences.
