Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to strengthen institutional cooperation to effectively combat terrorism.

The understanding came at a meeting between Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua and Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Hekmat Khalil Karzai in Kabul.

Speaking on the occasion, the Foreign Secretary underlined the need for strengthening border management and early repatriation of Afghan refugees.

She reiterated Pakistan’s desire to expedite transit facilitation and infrastructure connectivity projects between the two countries.
