India has no right to celebrate Independence Day: Aasiya
In occupied Kashmir, Dukhtaran e Millat Chairperson Aasiya Andrabi says India has no right to celebrate its independence as it has taken occupying Jammu Kashmir illegally and militarily.
In a statement in Srinagar, she said Kashmiri people have once again made it clear that they do not want to remain with India but are eager to end the forced Indian rule.
She said a general strike was observed throughout the valley on Independence Day of India which was no less than a referendum against the Indian rule. India has held Kashmir forcibly for decades now but has miserably failed to win hearts and minds of the oppressed people.
