The Saudi-UAE military alliance says it is halting offensive on the western Yemeni city of Hodeidah.

This comes as a number of countries has recently called for a cessation ahead of renewed UN led peace efforts to end the war.    

UAE's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Gargash, in a tweet welcomed early convening of UN led peace talks in Sweden. He said we will urge all parties to take advantage of window of opportunity to restart political process.
