October 16, 2021

The United States has offered payments to the family of ten civilians, who were killed in a botched US drone attack in Afghanistan in August.

The US Defence Department, Pentagon, said it made a commitment that included offering "ex-gratia condolence payments", in addition to working with the US State Department in support of the family members, who are interested in relocation to the United States.

The US drone strike in Kabul had killed as many as 10 civilians, including seven children.
