NASA, several partner countries sign ‘Artemis Accords’

NASA and several partner countries have signed the "Artemis Accords" to establish a practical set of principles to guide space exploration cooperation among nations participating in NASA's lunar exploration plans.

According to NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine, it will be the broadest and most diverse international human space exploration program in history.

He said we are uniting with our partners to explore the Moon and are establishing vital principles that will create a safe, peaceful, and prosperous future in space for all of humanity to enjoy.

The founding member nations that have signed the Artemis Accords include the United States, Australia, Canada, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
