Sikh community has expressed bliss and happiness over the opening of Kartarpur Corridor and Pakistan government's facilitation initiatives for Sikh pilgrims in connection with Baba Guru Nanak's 550th birth anniversary.
Talking to Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel today, Chairman Minorities' Rights Radesh Singh Tony said he is thankful to Pakistan government for this great initiative which is not less than a blessing for Sikh community.
He said Pakistan always stood first in extending its hand for peace and this initiative will also bolster peace in the region.
Chairman Baba Guru Nanak Jee Welfare Society Pakistan, Bishan Singh said through opening of the Corridor, a large number of Sikh pilgrims from India will visit Pakistan,
He said the Sikh community is happy over this great initiative and also thankful to Pakistani government.
General Secretary Pakistan Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Ameer Singh said visiting the sacred shrines of Gurus has been the wish of every Sikh and the corridor will make this happen.
He said we are thankful to the Prime Minister Imran Khan for this grand initiative.
