Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi has said that new policies will be evolved with the consultation of all stakeholders.

Addressing a ceremony at Karachi Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Karachi, Shehryar Afridi said that reforms and new system have to brought for strengthening and improvement of the institutions.

He said it is the responsibility of the state to protect life and property of the citizens.

The Minister said, strong and independent institutions will help the country flourish.

He added that Pakistan will be made a welfare state.

He said that federal government will design a policy with the consultation of the provinces to address the issues of business community and will work together in the interest of the country.
