Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation Dr. Sania Nishtar says a website is being launched to address the basic queries of people about Ehsaas programme.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, she said these questions were usually asked by people during her radio and Facebook programmes.

Sania Nishtar said the government has introduced first version of the website, and it will be updated in future as per the emerging requirements.  

She said people would be able to know the answers regarding eligibility criteria for different projects under Ehsaas programme.

The Special Assistant said latest announcements would be updated on the website and people would also be able to lodge complains against fake messages.

She said the basic objective of the projects under Ehsaas programme is to provide social security to people.

Responding to a question, the Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation said Radio Pakistan has been playing an effective role in dissemination of information about the governmnet's initiatives under Ehsaas Programme among masses.

She said radio is an important medium for an effective mass media campaign about Ehsaas Programme.
