Gilgit-Baltistan Departmental Working Party (GBDWP) has approved two development projects costing over one billion rupees.
The GBDWP meeting was held in Gilgit with Chief Minister Hafeez-ur-Rehman in the chair.
The approved projects include first phase of five hundred beds Saif-ur-Rehman Shaheed hospital Gilgit costing 600 million rupees and 2 MW capacity Ashkoman hydel power phase two scheme which will cost over 420 million rupees.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister Hafiz-ur-Rehman said that CM Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has provided one billion rupees to GB Government for Saif-ur-Rehman Hospital and is providing equipment for other DHQ Hospitals.
