British PM to face vote of no confidence
January 16, 2019

British Prime Minister Theresa May will face vote of no confidence in House of Commons on Wednesday (January 16).

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has tabled a vote of no confidence which could trigger a general election.

Earlier, the British House of Commons rejected Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal by 230 votes.

May lost after lawmakers voted by 432 to 202 to reject the agreement.

Politicians from different political parties rejected the proposed deal agreed with the European Union on how Britain should exit the bloc in March this year.
