The United Nations has appealed for massive help for nearly 400,000 Muslims from Myanmar who have fled to Bangladesh.
Addressing a news conference in Dhaka, director of operations and emergencies for the International Organization for Migration, Mohammed Abdiker urged the international community to step up humanitarian support for Rohingya Muslims.
Earlier, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the UN Security Council had urged Myanmar to end the violence against Rohingya Muslims.
