Pro-India parties playing with Kashmiris' sentiments, says APHC Chairman
In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said that pro-India Kashmiri political parties are exploiting the sentiments of innocent people to remain in power.
In a statement issued in Srinagar, he said that the subjugated people of Kashmir were suffering because of hypocritical behaviour of these double dealers.
He said that pro-freedom leaders were repeatedly summoned and detained by India’s National Investigation Agency because of their unflinching support to the Kashmir cause.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has welcomed the Amnesty International’s report that calls for immediate ban on pellet shotguns, trial of forces’ personnel in civilian courts and rehabilitation and compensation for victims in the occupied territory.
