Yemeni army has established control over several positions north of Mokha city.

The Yemeni army sources told media that government forces took control of the area of Kdaiha, and five farms north of the city with the help of air support of the Arab coalition.

The sources added that coalition forces hit back after the Houthis and forces of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh launched an attack on them in the area of Zahari.

Meanwhile, UN envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed has said that the United Nations is looking into a proposal to reach a truce between warring parties before the holy month of Ramadan.
