The US Secretary of State John Kerry and Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz held a meeting in Jeddah on Sunday.

During the meeting, they discussed peace efforts and latest developments in Yemen and Syria and bilateral cooperation.

 Kerry on this occasion appreciated Saudi role for peace efforts in the regional conflicts.

He also discussed cooperation in fighting terrorism with Crown Prince and Interior Minister Mohammed bin Nayef.

Earlier Kerry met with his Saudi counterpart Adel al-Jubeir and discussed regional issues mainly developments in Syria .
