President Mamnoon Hussain has said completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project will transform Pakistan into a regional trade hub. Addressing a ceremony of Kotri Association of Trade and Industry in Kotri on Saturday, he said this mega project envisages not only construction of motorways but also many power plants including nuclear. CPEC is a true manifestation of friendship of Pakistan and China. Strong relationship of the Pakistan and China is rooted in history and hoped that this lasting relationship would remain eternal.

Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said PTI has the largest number of individuals with ownership of offshore companies. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he said Imran Khan has been categorically stating that he has nothing to do with any offshore company but latest reports say he owned company way back in 1983. Apart from PTI leader, five other close associates of Imran Khan - his sister, Aleema Khan, Jehangir Tareen, one Senator and a Senior Minister of KP own offshore companies.

“Two Indian journalists shot dead in less than 24 hours”

Gunmen shot dead two journalists in 24 hours in separate incidents in eastern India. Police and local reports said that the latest media killing in Asia's deadliest country for reporters. Rajdeo Ranjan the local bureau chief for Hindi-language daily Hindustan was travelling on his motorcycle late Friday in Bihar state when a group of unknown assailants shot him five times.Late on Thursday, television journalist Akhilesh Pratap Singh was also shot dead by unknown assailants to local reports. India was Asia's deadliest country for journalists in 2015( Paris-based Reporters) It is also one of the most restrictive countries for the press, ranked 133 out of 180 nations by the group. In October gunmen on a motorbike shot dead a television journalist in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh as he returned home from a market. A freelance reporter also died after being doused with petrol and set on fire in Uttar Pradesh in June.

“FO denies 190 Pakistanis deported from Turkey by Greece”

Foreign Office spokesman Mohammad Nafees Zakaria has termed the media reports regarding detention of five hundred Pakistanis in Turkey as incorrect. In a press release issued by Foreign Office on Saturday, the spokesman has said 190 Pakistanis have been deported to Turkey by Greece. After verification of traveling documents of the remaining persons still in Turkey, will also be taken to Pakistan.
