The first meeting of Pak-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Group was held in Islamabad to chalk out the future working plan for the group.    

Senator Sehar Kamran, who chaired the meeting, emphasized establishing deeper people-to-people contacts for better understanding between the two societies.     

Speaking on the occasion, the two countries agreed that they already enjoyed special relations that are not only brotherly but time-tested as well.      

The members looked forward to establish one to one relations with Saudi Parliament members and initiate student exchange programmes in order to establish cohesive connectivity between the peoples of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
