Incumbent govt committed to cope with energy crisis on priority basis: Asif
Minister says govt will allocate substantial funds for power projects in next fiscal year.
Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that incumbent government is committed to cope with energy crisis on top priority basis.
Talking to Radio Pakistan's correspondent in Sialkot on Sunday, he said the government will allocate substantial funds for power projects in the next fiscal year.
The Minister said all resources are being utilized to enhance power generation capacity and to get rid of load shedding.
He said due to prudent policies of the government the duration of load shedding has been reduced to many fold as compared to previous years.
The Minister said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project will bring revolutionary change and usher in economic growth and prosperity in the country.
